Abstract & Poster Instructions

We are no longer accepting poster abstract submissions.

Poster presenters: please see the Symposium Program and Information for details about hanging your poster.

Abstract Guidelines

  • Use standard abstract format: title, authors, institution, abstract body, reference.
  • Your abstract cannot exceed 2000 characters (including spaces).
  • Use Times or Times New Roman font size 12.
  • List the authors with full names: first name, then family name.
  • List the address in the following order: department, institution, city, state, country.
  • DO NOT include any graphics or tabular material in the body of your abstract.
  • Prepare the abstract as a word document, named as follows: your last name.doc

How to submit an abstract

  1. Please submit abstracts via the web registration process. DO NOT SEND VIA FAX, MAIL, OR E-MAIL.
  2. Click on the registration link and follow the instructions.
  3. Indicate that you wish to submit an abstract and select a topic category from the list. The topic categories are the same as the sessions:
    • Session I: Calcium Sequestration and Function
    • Session II: Plant Growth and Defense
    • Session IIIA: Assimilation, Transport, and Storage
    • Session IIIB: Nutrient and Assimilate Partitioning
  4. Browse your word document and submit.
  5. Acknowledgment of registration and abstract submission will be sent to you by e-mail.

Poster Guidelines

Posters should be no larger than 4 ft by 4 ft (122 cm by 122 cm). Tacks will be provided.
